U17 Boys – Presidents v Victoria

The Presidents had a tough opening round today against the highly fancied Victorian team. The first quarter saw the Presidents outclassed by the strong team work of Victoria who put on 9 unanswered goals for the quarter. From here the Presidents started to get focussed and whilst the Victorians continued to score for the most part it became harder for them to convert. The Presidents finished with 3 goal for the game including a stellar goal from first gamer Lee Theodoridis. Good games from Jake Webster, Michael Yallop and Luke Dobson kept the score lower than it could have been and Jono Lowes work from the centre face off allowed the Presidents to begin gain ing some valuable possession time. A good effort to build on for the week ahead. Well done.
