After a wonderful luncheon in March filled with stories from the past, laughs, tears and great friends we have been inspired to create a family atmosphere for our next celebration – FAMILY DAY!
Family Day will be held amongst the trees at Eltham Lacrosse Club on Sunday 29th May 2011. The day is set to focus on fun for all the family and after so much frivolity at the Luncheon we would love to have your presence at our next celebration of this year’s milestone.
Please refer to attached flyer for more information, with more details to follow in the coming weeks.
We have also designed a Commemorative T-Shirt for this year and have attached a flyer and order form for this memorabilia – get in fast before they get snapped up!
This Saturday is Club Day at Eltham.
This means that we will be celebrating Eltham Lacrosse Club by having all of the boys/mens games at Lower Eltham Park. What a fabulous opportunity for us all to watch every age group play and catch up with friends. After the last games you can then stay for dinner in the clubrooms, Jacqui Butcher and Andrew Caddy are rostered on to provide a scrumptious evening feed. Come down to the club and make this Saturday 21st May – LACROSSE DAY.
As Saturday promises to be a big day, we will need as many hands on deck as possible. Come down and make this a great day for all. If you are available to help out then contact one of the people listed at the bottom of this article.

Come one come all!
The summer of 2010-2011 is going to be a long pre-season of RECRUITMENT for the Senior Women panthers. Last season we were only a few players shy of having 2 full senior teams so that’s now our aim for 2011. We are also aiming for an Under 17s team to train with us as well. in 2010, Eltham had 5 junior girl state representatives and we want to make sure that that talent is fostered at the club and the girls can play together as they reach greater heights as the years go by and they can enjoy their last years as juniors at their home ground.
So consider this a SHOUT OUT! If you or a friend are looking for a new sport or wondering if you should return to the game we love, give us a bell! Our aim for next season is to have:
If you’re worried about taking up a new sport, don’t be… over half of our team last year had been recruited in adulthood and will be coming back for more next year! If you’ve only ever seen a men’s game of lacrosse, women’s is very different, so give us a bell and come down to preseason 2011 (starting in Feb) and have a look-see!
Have a look at the rest of the website to see how much fun the season can really be!
P.S Don’t worry if you don’t have any gear, you can borrow a crosse (stick) from someone at the club until you’re ready to get your own.
