ANNUAL SCHOOL’S COMPETITION - RAY SHANNON TROPHY


This year will feature the 29th running of our major recruitment drive targeting schools in the Diamond Valley area, and a first for us in being able to hold the event at our grounds at Lower Eltham Park, courtesy of the Lower Eltham Cricket Club.

Several schools have already been approached, had clinics and are eager to participate. A further 5 - 10 schools have also indicated their willingness to participate so it should be bumper year for us.

Under the Leadership of Steve Mackey, with Kate Manikas, Michelle and Jeff Wiles, and the Junior Committee preparations are well underway, however they could always do with more help especially on Saturday morning competitions. Areas needing assistance are refereeing, scoring, ground set-up, information booths and canteen.


Competition will be held on:

- Saturday 8th March, 2008
- Saturday 15th March, 2008 - Which will include registration day
- Saturday 5th April, 2008 - Grand Final and registration day
